Nina Ventra serves as the Nooga Diversity Center board of directors president. She brings nearly a decade of non profit experience to the board having worked with inner city at-risk populations, gangs and homeless families.
She is also an award winning video producer and journalist as well as a certified Offender Workforce Development Specialist.
A native of San Francisco, Nina is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Communications and Rhetoric and the College of San Mateo with a degree in ornamental horticulture.

In addition to her service to NDC, Nina serves or has served on the board of directors for Family Promise of Greater Chattanooga and the Chattanooga Police Department Citizens' Police Academy Alumni Association. Many decades ago Nina was a safe sex educator at her high school with the Stanford University Safer Sex program.
Nina is mother to Zoe, her 12-year-old dachshund with a serious attitude problem, and caregiver to her beloved mother who has dementia.
